The mission of the Airport Chaplaincy Program:

— to provide Chaplains, Associate Chaplains and pastoral volunteers approved by the officers of the organization following in the footsteps of the Apostles Peter and Paul

IMG_0969— to attend to the pastoral needs of users and employees of the USO, airport and airlines – those seeking a sympathetic ear, those in need of comfort or help, those in need of hope without asking for anything in return, without asking if they are Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, rich or poor, white, black, brown or yellow 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

— to provide a place for quiet reflection and prayer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week plus regularly scheduled Sunday worship services and other religious services as requested.

— to provide pastoral support and services for airport emergencies and extraordinary happenings on airport property.

— to do such other or further acts as a person or corporation is generally permitted to do under the laws of the State of North Carolina except that the corporation shall do no acts which are not exclusively of a charitable, religious or educational nature as defined in § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended.
