Chaplain Volunteers

We are expanding and seeking caring individuals who would enjoy serving the traveling public as well as airport and airline employees. Lay people, Ministers, Rabbis, Iman, and Priests are welcome to join our team. Parking is provided and you receive discounts from the food and merchandise vendors. Chaplains cover the airport on 4 hours shifts the same day and time each week. Shifts begins as early as 6 am and ends around midnight 7 days a week.

THE REQUIREMENTS ◾Be secure in their own faith and able to respect the faith or lack of it in others. ◾Pass a background check by the Transportation Security Administration plus fingerprint background check. ◾Accept that we do not engage in proselytization of any type and there will be times when using the name of Jesus in prayer may not be acceptable to the person you are reaching out to support. ◾Able to physically walk throughout the terminal and ramp areas plus provide their own transportation to and from the airport. ◾Attend occasional weekend training programs. ◾Like to minister in an environment that is undefined and unstructured.

Directions to the Chapel


Once through Security, proceed to the Main Terminal Atrium (Food Court) and take the stairs to the 3rd floor (elevator access available).  Head to the hallway to your left (away from the USO) and the entrance to the Auditorium will be the 2nd door on the right.
